*Disney World....*

nah, i'm just kidding. We didn't go to Disney World, we just went to Valley West Mall. Today they had Easter activities so of course we decided to go. We were the second people in line so we were ready to go. So even though we had our camera I decided that we should pay 10.99 for a "professional" picture because I figured that they would have a cute little paper frame going around the picture like they usually do for xmas pictures. Well, they DIDN't. Whatever, the picture is pretty cute. They also had Tigger and Pooh there as well and a kraft. Emma liked them quite a bit so we got a few pictures. She also got to ride the train. The rest of the day was spent playing outside in the dirt, painting on the sidewalk and playing some soccer in our front yard. It was beautiful outside so after naps we headed to the park. As we pulled up to the park Emma said "i'm going to find a new friend to play with".... so as you can imagine, she did.

-busy last couple weeks-

Well, nothing much is new here. This past week I began watching one of my friends' little girls who is 8 weeks old. We seem to be getting along fine and are adjusting 'fairly' well. Things are busy as usual. But it sure has been great being able to play outside it he dirt (beings we have nothing else to play with just yet) and going to the park. Gracie now has 4 teeth and has mastered climbing up the first stair. Not the best thing to have mastered though. She is pulling herself up on things because she tends to think she is a big girl. Emma is just the same as always, chatting it up constantly and loving being able to play outside. We were flying a kite the other day and it was a tad bit windy and needless to say the wind took...a couple houses down. So if you can imagine, the kite flying away, me running to get the kite and Emma back in the street crying and screaming "my kite...my kite mommy!" So that was fun, let me tell you. The girls and myself headed back to Villisca last Thursday so I could help do flowers for a wedding. Zack came on Friday after work so beings we were all home we went to my Grandma Wainwright's house on Saturday evening and took Drew and Addy as well. We got a pretty darn good picture of all the great-grandkids. Can you believe my grandma is going to be 91 in April and still lives on the farm on her own. CRAZY!

Our trip to Maryland...more teeth...and our new house

It's been a busy last couple weeks. We got all moved in to our new house..only to pack up and leave to fly to Maryland for a few days. The flight there went perfectly...a little too perfectly until the last 15 minutes... when gracie was throwing up....emma looked like she was going to throw up.. and I wanted to throw up... because there were extremely high winds in Baltimore...needless to say we were glad to be on the ground. While in Maryland, Emma kept busy with Grandma Connie, Grandpa Dennis and Aunt Melanie. Emma never gives them a break when we are there. We stayed busy and the trip really went too fast so we are thinking about heading out again in August for 2 weeks... so we'll see. Gracie's 3rd tooth came through...but the last full day we were there we discovered a 4th tooth coming in (that explains why she was so fussy the last day). The flight home seemed to last forever though Gracie took a good nap and I practiced my 'origamie' (can't think of how to spell it) skills with pages out of a coloring book... obviously my skills aren't good at all if you can't already see that in the pictures. Now it's 6:40pm...we are all beat. But we managed to get some play time outside because it was 60 degrees when we got home... AMAZING!

~All moved in!! and now Gracie is crawling!!~

So we are finally are moved in our new house. What a relief it was to finally sign the papers at closing last Thursday. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures yet....pretty sad beings my mom took pictures the other day. We have been busy getting unpacked and organized....and now we are packing to leave for Maryland on Friday for awhile. Emma is completely loving her new room. I painted it purple and will soon be doing stripes on one wall. Gracie is crawling now! Everywhere! I can't believe that she is crawling already but it's pretty cute. She is now trying to climb on stuff which tends to be a bit frustrating at time. I will post some pictures of the house next week sometime!

~Sitting Up~

So Gracie has mastered sitting up...and is officially getting into ALL of Emma's toys. We have been busy packing up the apartment to move into our new house this coming weekend. It will be sooooo nice to have a big house with lots of space. We head to Maryland next Friday for 5 days. Emma is super excited to see Grandma Connie and Grandpa Dennis as well as flying on an airplane yet again.

*Our Ft. Campbell trip*

This past Friday we flew to Nashville, Tn than drove to Clarksville, Tn to surprise some friends. Rey had gotten back from Iraq in December and his wife and myself had been planning this surprise. The flight on the way went fine as Gracie slept the whole way and Emma was busy watching her movies and coloring. Rey was really surprised to see us when he opened the door and there we stood. We had an awesome quick weekend. The weather was very nice...in the 50's on Sunday so we spend the day outside playing at the park. Little Rey turned 1 last week but Gracie weighs more than him and almost the same height. He was 6 weeks premature so it's interesting to see how they compared. Enjoy the pictures. The pictures with the balloons are taken by the river. One of my friends, Erin, lost her husband two years ago in the river and they now live in Washington...whenever they come to Ft. Campbell...which isn't very often, little Jessiah likes to send balloons up to heaven to his daddy. So Emma and I sent some up for them.

Been quite awhile

So it's been awhile since I've updated this... but we had a minor accident with the internet device... but we are up and going as of a couple of hours ago. Things are moving along as usual. Gracie now has her 2nd tooth and it rolling all over the place. She is also getting up on her hands and knees and rocking back and fourth... she's just all over the place now. We are counting down the days until we get to move into our new house in just a few weeks. We are getting ready to take a 4 day vacation next Friday to...????... well we can't say just yet because it's a surprise.... anyways we are excited to get away for a little bit and experience flying in a plane with two little ones... wish us luck!!
